As part of our role as the front-door to the homeless system, HOPE operates a Day Shelter within the HOPE Connections One-Stop. Any person or family experiencing homelessness can take showers, do laundry, use the phone or computer, take a variety of empowering classes, and be referred for more in-depth services as relationships are formed. The Day Shelter is open 7 days a week from 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday, and 8am-2pm Friday-Sunday. Over 20 churches from across the region sponsor the Center, which is 100% privately funded. They collect items like laundry detergent, gently used towels, personal care items, and paperback books for our grateful clients.
