Taylor house offers a variety of services: •a positive, caring environment in which begin a new life without violence. •individual and group support for both children and adults. •women's support group for both residents and nonresidents. •assistance for women with disabilities. •children's support and advocacy. the staff provide advocacy and presentations in order to educate the community about the effects of domestic violence to prevent instances of domestic violence in our communities. The domestic violence program serves bossier, caddo, desoto, natchitoches, red river, sabine, and webster parishes. Two safe shelters for women and children of domestic violence are located in caddo and sabine parishes. There are outreach advocates located in every parish so survivors of domestic violence can make contact with an advocate in their community to find valuable resources available to them.

  • Intake procedures: Intake is preformed by a trained advocate to determine eligibility for the program.

The accredited sexual assault center provides information and referrals for victims of sexual assault and abuse. Accreditation is through the Louisiana foundation against sexual assault (lafasa) and serves desoto, red river, natchitoches, sabine, caddo, webster, and bossier parishes. services offered •information and referrals for survivors of sexual assault •24-hour telephone crisis line and counseling support sabine, natchitoches, desoto, and red river parish hotline is (318) 256-6242 caddo, webster, and bossier parish hotline is (318) 227-7900 •in-office counseling for survivors of sexual assault •hospital advocacy during emergency room exam and provision of additional change of clothes •court advocacy •support groups and community education •follow-up services and support all services offered by the project celebration's sexual assault center are confidential and free of charge for the convenience and well-being of the community. The families and individuals are served by our organization through education, advocacy, and collaboration of all available resources.

Cacs provide an age appropriate and secure environment for child disclosures of sexual and physical abuse. Trained, professional staff work with the child so he/she May tell their story. Cacs coordinate multi-disciplined team efforts in the investigation and prosecution of child sex and physical abuse cases. The cac also works to provide or refer important follow-up services, such as counseling, for the child and other resources for non-offending family members. the cac is a community of caring people coming together to bring hope back to child victims of sexual abuse. In 2010, cacs in Louisiana provided services to over 4,000 children. project celebration cac program director is a trained child forensic interviewer and the center itself is a developing member of the national children's alliance (nca) and children's advocacy centers of Louisiana (cacla)and will be seeking accreditation in the near future from those agencies.

  • Requirements: Children between the ages of 0-18 who are victims of crime.

The family resource center (frc) at project celebration is a meeting place during which families and those identified as possible sources of support in the community (i.E. Facilitators, caseworkers, guardian ad litem, etc...) Come together and decide on a safety and service plan to protect the child in care. The frc receives referrals from the court system and department of children and family services in the local communities served. the structure provided comes in the form of supervised visitation and coaching in a neutral setting, parenting classes that provide families with positive core values and beliefs, family maintenance and education, and building a strong family support network. the frc strives to empower families by utilizing the goals, talents, confidence and combining them with environmental resources, people, and opportunities in order to create happy, healthy families who develop the highest capacity for safety, self-reliance and personal well-being.

Provided ongoing domestic violence, anger management, drug prevention & education counseling services in house and/or contacts to services provided by other organizations to children, adults and families, in communities throughout a five parish area. Providing these services has led to positive changes to the people's lives and a decrease in overall requests for these services in our service area.
