Mission

Literacy Volunteers at Centenary College (LVCC) is an organization of volunteers which provides a variety of services to enable adults to achieve personal goals through literacy. Literacy Volunteers at Centenary College's mission is to promote literacy in the northwest Louisiana area.

ADULT BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS TEACHING ADULTS TO READ, OFFERING Pre-GED CLASSES AND PROVIDING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE TO FOREIGN RESIDENTS TO IMPROVE THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF the ENGLISH Language (During 2015-2016 there were 258 students who came through the literacy program)

Literacy Volunteers at Centenary

Literacy Volunteers is seeking tutors who can offer 2 hours per session. They are also seeking an office volunteer who can offer 4 hour sessions. Volunteers must be 18 or older.
