The CADA Medically-Supported Detox Program provides a medically-supported detoxification program for adults males and females 18 years of age and older who are actively withdrawing from alcohol and/or other drugs and have significant detoxification signs and symptoms requiring medical support.

CADA Adult High-Intensity Residential Treatment Program (ASAM III.5) provides residential substance abuse/addiction treatment services for adult males and females who are 18 years and older who are not actively withdrawing from alcohol or other drugs.
The adult low-intensity residential halfway house program (ASAM III.1) provides residential substance abuse/addiction services for adult males and females 18 years and older. Clients admitted to this program are generally transitioned from the CADA High-Intensity Residential Program. However, in certain situations, clients may be directly admitted to this program.
The Biedenharn Family Program, also known as the Family Success Institute, is a medium-intensity residential program (ASAM III.3) that provides residential substance abuse treatment services for adult women who are pregnant and adult women with children up to 12 years of age.
CADA Adolescent Treatment Center houses the Cavanaugh Treatment Program which is an adolescent high-intensity residential program (ASAM III.5) providing substance abuse/addiction services for adolescent males and females 12-17 years of age.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Program The Intensive Outpatient Program (ASAM Level II.1) provides intensive outpatient substance abuse/addiction services to adult males and females 18 years of age and older within the Addiction Recovery Clinic of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana (CADA). It is located at 2000 Fairfield Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71104.
The Outpatient Program (ASAM Level I) provides outpatient substance abuse/addiction services to adult and adolescent males and females within the Addiction Recovery Clinic of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana (CADA). It is located at 2000 Fairfield Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71104.
Goods & Services
CADA is seeking donations for door prizes for their community outreach program where they attend health fairs and festivals. They have a drawing each time to encourage parents and kids to sign up and allow them the opportunity to speak with them and hand out information on drugs and alcohol. These items are usually gift cards, tablets, gift baskets, etc. Please contact CADA for more information on donating.
CADA is hosting its 60th Anniversary Annual Dinner October 10th at 6 PM. They are looking for volunteers to help with setup and decorating the event space. Please contact Susan Reeks for more details.
