Description : Retail Floor Manager • Retail sales management experience - at least 2 year required. • Previous experience in resale or thrift store management preferred. • Strong customer relations skills and volunteer coordination needed. • Administrative and financial management experience needed. • Self-motivated and organized, ability to demonstrate qualities of vision and leadership to staff and volunteers. • Excellent written and communication skills needed.

Requirements : • Arrange window displays and sales floor design. • Convene team meetings • Recruiting, training, and overseeing volunteers • Maintaining a climate which attracts, recruits and retains a diverse high-quality team of staff and volunteers • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports of store activity, sales, and expenses • Maintaining inventory and attractiveness of store and displays • Ensuring all official records and documents are maintained, ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations and lease requirements • Preparing staffing schedules that ensure that adequate staff coverage is maintained • Tracking staff and volunteer hours and time sheets and submitting them on schedule. • Manage the finances of the Resale Shop which includes: • working within the budget of the Resale Shop • developing proficiency in the use of the software program to track sales, profits, and to generate daily, weekly and monthly reports • preparing projections of sales and profits to assist in the growth of the Resale Shop • working with the YWCA Finance Director by providing the required accounting and paperwork • making daily bank deposits • following YWCA Financial policies and procedures • Market, promote and manage all communications regarding the Resale Shop including: • creating advertising campaigns, flyers, social media to promote the shop • developing sales events and promotions to attract customers • developing ideas for soliciting donations and recruiting volunteers on an ongoing basis • informing customers of promotional events, such as sales, email lists, frequent shopper cards, websites, etc. • work within YWCA guidelines for marketing and promotion, and consult with Executive Director on all promotions • Support the mission of the YWCA and work as a team member with YWCA staff and Board by: • attending staff meetings as required • providing reports to the ED and Board as required • attending special YWCA events and fundraisers • demonstrating leadership by positive example and professionalism
