Permanent supportive, community-based housing for 9 women who are in recovery from substance abuse dependency and have experienced homelessness. Funded by HUD.
Permanent supportive, community-based housing for 16 individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and have a severe mental health diagnosis. Funded by LHFA-HOME, City of Shreveport-HOME, HUD-SHP, and BancorpSouth.
SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE– Rent support to low-income adults who have a severe mental health diagnosis and have experienced homelessness. Funded by HUD LEDBETTER- 12 affordable townhomes located in the Ledbetter Heights neighborhood.

THIS PROGRAM ENCOMPASSES BUILDING NEW AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS FOUR NEW HOMES WERE COMPLETED IN THE ALLENDALE NEIGHBORHOOD DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR VOLUNTEERS AND PROSPECTIVE HOME OWNERS PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSTRUCTION ONCE A HOME IS COMPLETED, THE OWNER SIGNS A PROMISSORY NO-INTEREST 20-YEAR MORTGAGE, PAYABLE TO FCHNWLA DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE HOUSE, MORTGAGE AMOUNTS ARE BETWEEN $60, 000 AND $75, 000
