The Learning, Exploration, Aspiration, Preparation, & Success (LEAPS) program, a two-year initiative that seeks to prepare young people with the fundamental skills needed to thrive in the 21st century world of school, work, and life, is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the implementation of LEAPS in Northwest Louisiana (NWLA). A community-driven initiative, LEAPS is working in NWLA, West Texas, and South Texas forging partnerships with community organizations to expand access to programs, services, and opportunities that engage and empower the region’s youth.
The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with project management, communication, and administrative support skills. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to quickly learn and thrive in a fast-based environment. Ideally, the candidate has significant knowledge of the NWLA region.
• Bachelor’s in a field relevant to IYF’s mission and programs (Social Science, Economics, Public Policy), plus 1-3 years of work experience.
• Work experience in teen development strongly preferred.
